Carlby Gardeners have informed us of an event they are holding on Saturday May 30th from 2.00-4.00 PM at the Carlby Village Hall, High Street, Carlby, Lincs. PE9 4LX

‘Inspired by Sarah Raven’s recent 'Perfect for Pollinators' campaign, we want to encourage people to grow more nectar-rich plants in their gardens – wildlife-friendly doesn’t have to mean messy!

May is the ideal time to get plants growing and there will be plenty of nectar-rich plants available from our plant stall. Enjoy a vintage style ‘Bee Tea’ with homemade cake as well as a bee-inspired craft stall, a scarecrow competition, talks by local bee-keepers and a range of Sophie Allport merchandise from her lovely 'Busy Bee' range. ‘
